RT RP Club

The RT RP Club is an abbreviation for RoosterTeeth Role Playing Club. It consists of several members, led by TheForge, who play RP forum games in the Forum Games Forum. It is used to discuss both RP's old and new (well now we have a journal for some of that), and work out the kinks for new RPs before they post them.
Thanks to the club, less and less pointless and poorly thought out RP's are disappearing and newcomers are learning how to properly post while not being laughed at. Their noble cause has greatly helped in the cleansing of the Forum Games Forum. Many RPers who dwell there are thankful, or should be thankful, to the RT RP Club. We are examples that RolePlayers should go by.

The Thread
The RT RP Club Suppot & Discussion threadis where most of the business takes place we also created a profile to represent the club, its friend list acting as our roster. We are constantly coming up with new ideas. We Demand Strict Discussion about RP Threads and RPing in the proper threads. Also we try to be on all the members' good sides, those who anger many multiple times were and still are put into the The Hated and Traitorous section. We talked about nothing most of the time in the old days, but didn't use it as an excuse.
Rules
- Read Up: Once you post, read the posts above yours that were posted while you wrote your post, reply as needed. (this is the exception to the double posting rule)
- Approval: You MUST get your char sheet approved by the thread creator or one of his lackeys before playing (Most if not all of the RPs have a journal to post your character sheet in.)
- THE GAME SHOULD BE FUN!
The Words
The three most important words you must remember as an RPer (role player).
- PLOT: Doing things for the story is a must for an RP to survive,
- THEME: Doing things on theme to maintain the story's flavour.
- BALANCE: You should be Neither OverPowered nor UnderPowered to achieve a lasting flow.
Standard Abbreviations
FTP: For The Plot: an action that may or may not make sense in context but will further the story along or at the least get us past the boring bits.
FTL: For The LOLs (sometimes For Teh LULZ): an action done simply for it's own sake. (the opposite of FTP)
OOC: Out Of Character: dialog within the RP that is of the player themselves not of the actual character.
IC: In Character: The opposite of OOC.
RTFA: Run The Fuck Away: To make a tactical retreat usually when your own demise is a certainty.
BRB: Be Right Back: stepping away from the keyboard for a moment.
BBS: Be Back Soon: Leaving for half an hour to 3 hours or so
G2G: Got TO Go: need to leave now, may not be back for a while.
OP: Over Powered: No need for explanation on this one.
UP: Under Powered: In other words; your character is probably going to die.
DP: Double Post: It shouldn't happen often, but when it does, at least acknowledge it.
RtB: Return to Base: to regroup or to call to regroup, to go home for the day, etc

Members are now kept track of by being on this friend list.
The Hated
- Mostly llin (who is hopefully gone now) and UFSTORM (who is now Renji123), ANYBODY using the name spartan, iSteal_iDeas, and sometimes Zar when he is playing his part as Grif of the club or OverPoweredness.
The Treacherous
- Evap...occasionally Herlock...but mostly just Evap.
