From Roosterpedia
Michelle Carter (MichyGeary on the site), born August 13, 1988, currently attends the University of Connecticut on the Storrs campus. She is studying to be an English major. What she plans to do with this degree is still unknown, to others and herself. She loves to write, but for some reason, dislikes reading (probably due to her being the world's slowest reader). She spends most of her time writing fan fiction, studying, on the RoosterTeeth site, or hanging out with her friends.

History of the Name
The name "Michy" was determined to be short for "Michelle" upon her first experience with Pokémon: Red Version. As the game only allows for a maximum of seven characters for one's name, she had to come up with something satisfactory. Thus the name "Michy" was born. It soon became her internet alias. "Geary" comes into play thanks to the brilliant acting of Tony Geary on the soap opera General Hospital. Michy was so impressed by his work that she decided to adopt his last name as her "online last name." Plus, "Michy Geary" has a nice ring to it. Especially when said with a French accent.
History with Red vs. Blue
MichyGeary (or "Michy") discovered Red vs. Blue through her friends Matt (zaber324) and Jason (WonderFlower). Michy said the phrase "bow chicka bow wow" in a certain situation, which made Matt mention that it was from Red vs. Blue, to which Michy responded, "What's that?" It wasn't long before the five friends pooled their money to buy the DVDs and watch the series in one (or maybe a few) sitting(s).
History on the site
Michy joined up on the site on April 10, 2006. Not an active user, however, she never logged in and merely downloaded the latest Red vs. Blue episodes in lo-res. When the news entry about the Gus bus hit the front page, Michy became a hardcore Red vs. Blue fan. It wasn't until the release of Episode 79: Got Your Back that Michy decided to log into her abandoned account and sponsor it. Soon after, she was joining the forums with her friend and dormmate, Olivia (pwndgotpwnd).
While sitting around the dorm hoping that a RoosterTeeth event would take place near to them, Olivia and Michy decided to check the events page only to discover that the Machinima Festival was coming up in November in New York. Excited to see an event so close, the girls began planning to attend. After a month and a half of intense planning, they were off to New York with their friend Orin (ott21) to meet up with Matt and attend the festival. Upon arriving at 6:30, the four found that the event was closed for the day, and the awards ceremony (the main attraction for the trip, where Burnie Burns and Matt Hullum would be) was invite-only. Dejected, the team decided to attend the event the following morning to see the screening of the winners.
Around the beginning of November 2006, Michy decided to make a playing card for Simmons that seemed an amalgamation of Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering. Other users on the site seemed to approve and began requesting cards for other characters. Michy made one for Church and Grif and eventually decided to make a card for all the main characters. After posting a journal with the eight cards, Michy began to pick up watchers; thus began the Card Collection series. She has made cards for nearly all the minor characters and voice actors at this point but still needs to get her ass on finishing the rest.
Contributions to the Community
Being a typical noob, when Michy first joined the community, she made several pointless threads that were nearly immediately locked. Once she caught on to the strict rules of the forums, she resided mainly in the provided threads.
Soon after becoming active on the site, Michy realized the watch feature for threads and users. Her favorite character being Simmons, she immediately joined up with the All Things Simmons thread to post a link to her first Red vs. Blue fan video, Moments With.... She and the other members of the ATS (namely gosimmons, Degenerate89 and Takami) began to grow worried over the low level of inactivity in the thread. Thus, Michy decided to run a 100 mod contest to boost activity in the thread. She offered 100 mods to the first person to post on the 100th page of the ATS before the end of the year. After the contest was over, the participants in the contest stuck around, and the ATS has been the most active character thread since.
Michy also spent most of her initial time in the Red vs. Blue trivia threads. Soon after being a constant frequenter, Michy and a few other posters had the idea to revamp the rules, not realizing the system was essentially a dictatorship. In creating the new Trivia thread with new rules and new mods, Michy unleashed a torrent of hell on herself and chaos ensued. The then-current mods were kind enough to give her a break and even include her as an official mod along with TrixR4Kids.
Contributions to RoosterTeeth
As any good fan should, Michy was of the opinion that RoosterTeeth deserved any and all support she could give. Having a job on campus, she decided she could afford to sponsor users on the site, as she had seen so many other users do. This went on for several months, she sponsoring on and off to give her wallet a break from the incredibly level of "customers." She stopped doing so in February of 2007 to save up for Red vs. Blue Toronto in July of 2007, and she hasn't since begun to sponsor again.
Michy also purchases frequently from the RoosterTeeth store so as to support the team and spread the word about the series. It was recently calculated that she has spent close to $1200 on merchandise and sponsorships. She is currently attempting to own every article of clothing and merchandise offered in the store. And you should, too.
