About
Microbe, often credited as Jozef Garcia or Microbefox, is a 23 year-old male from Toronto, Canada who is an aspiring filmmaker. He is currently majoring in CCIT (Communication Culture and Information Technology), a subject dealing with all aspects of multimedia at the University of Toronto at Mississauga and Sheridan College. He is also majoring in Theory of Dramatic Arts at the UofT @ Mississauga Campus. Microbe has been an active member of the Red vs Blue community since the PHPBB Forums in Summer of 2003.
Microbefox Edit
Microbe's video editing debut began in co-ordinance with the boom of user created videos on the 1.0 version of the Roosterteeth Community Site. His first videos consisted of splicing user created vidoes into vignettes while syncing them with music (Forum ChroniclesVideo Montage and Video Highlights). He is most known for his user created music video work on Bopsta (formerly known as Google Idol). Other known works include Secret Asian Man, Commissar Litvinov and RvBTO. The name Microbefox is a made up word to make searching for information on Microbe easy on Google.
Bopsta
Microbe started as a user submitting content on Bopsta known as Gidol at the time in March 2006. Some of his most popular videos on Bopsta include Everyday is Exactly the Same by Nine Inch Nails, Crazy by Gnarls Barkley (Tribute Video), and Bild Dir Deine Meinung by Mediengruppe Telekommander. Microbe became the first administrator to the website and is a good friend of the creator Ben Petro.
RvBTO DVD
The RvBTO DVD is a documentary with interviews from the cast of Red vs Blue and performances by Trocadero. The interview portion was shot during the screening of Season 5 of Red vs Blue. The DVD will be on sale sometime in Fall 2007 on the RvBTO website. Pre-orders are expected to start at the end of September 2007.
